Pete Auyer Retires from Appel Osborne

After 21 years at Appel Osborne, Pete Auyer is looking ahead to his next chapter – retirement.  Pete has been a well-respected, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and dependable project manager at our firm for more than two decades, and he will be greatly missed.  Pete has brought expertise, guidance, promptness, and respect to his clients and built many long-term relationships.  During his landscape architecture career, Pete has completed projects for K-12 and higher education facilities, large scale residential facilities, and parks and recreation spaces including unique and complex design for the primate and elephant exhibits at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY.  Pete served six years on the Upstate NY ASLA Executive Board serving as Vice President (2002-2004), President (2004-2006), Immediate Past President (2006-2008), Newsletter Editor, and an Executive Committee Member.  He plans on spending more time with his beautiful wife Becky, their four children, and eight grandchildren.  Pete has set a great example for our firm, and we wish him the best in his retirement.
