Storm Water Solutions Magazine Recognizes Zoo Project

This past summer, Storm Water Solutions Magazine accepted submissions for industry-specific projects in design or construction from within the past 18 months.  The magazine’s editorial staff selected ten winning projects across the United States that vary in size and scope but share main objectives for sustainable storm water management.  The Rosamond Gifford Zoo Storm Water Wetland and Cistern Project in Syracuse, NY was named a 2013 Top Project Winner.  Appel Osborne is happy to have worked with CH2M Hill, the Project Engineer, on this noteworthy project completed as part of Onondaga County’s Save the Rain Program.  Congratulations to the project team and the Zoo!  To read an article about the winning projects click the following link: http://www.estormwater.com/you-win, and to learn more about the Onondaga County Save the Rain Program click here: http://savetherain.us/str_project/zoo-wetland/.
