Renovations at Falcon Park Complete

An open house was held last Friday at Falcon Park in Auburn, NY.  The facility was recently renovated to accommodate the needs of both the Auburn Doubledays baseball team as well as the athletic teams at neighboring Cayuga Community College.  AOLA Senior Partner, Pete Osborne, Associate, Taylor Goldthwait, and Project Designer, Ryan Mackerer, designed a synthetic turf field that can host games for multiple sports.  For the summer, the field will look like a traditional baseball field for the Auburn Doubledays season.  In the fall and spring, the turf is capable of being transformed into a field that can accommodate men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and softball.  At the open house, community members were able to step onto the synthetic turf and walk around the facility to see the improvements.  Appel Osborne is happy to have worked with the parties involved to provide a facility that supports the needs of multiple programs and can bring the community together.
