New Middletown Elementary School Nears Completion

The new elementary school at Middletown School District is nearing completion and is scheduled for occupancy in January 2013. It is expected that students attending the existing Chorley Elementary School will move to the new school at this time, and following a redistricting plan being developed by District officials this school year, the building is expected to be at full capacity by September 2013.  The new school, which will be the biggest elementary school in the state, aims to bring class sizes in compliance with the state’s Contract for Excellence limits. The new building features a large courtyard with tree plantings and large lawn area.  Being a part of this very exciting project has been a privilege for Appel Osborne, and we are so pleased to see it nearing a successful fruition.  Click the link for more information and photos of the construction:
