New Charity Founded by AOLA Partner Cory Jenner

New Charity Founded by AOLA Partner Cory Jenner

It is an unfortunate reality that cancer has affected all of us in one way or another. AOLA Partner, Cory Jenner, recently lost his brother-in-law to a long, hard-fought battle against the disease. To honor his memory and offer a reprieve for those still fighting, Cory began the process of forming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization including filing paperwork, forming a Board of Directors, and garnering supplies and resources. Cory is now officially the proud founder of the charitable organization Fishing for a Cure One Cast at a Time. Appel Osborne is beyond proud of his dedication and commitment to this endeavor.

The charity aims to improve quality of life by offering guided fishing trips to those of all ages enduring cancer treatment and recovery. There is absolutely no cost to the patients or their families, and Cory ensures the experience is customized and fulfilling to each participant.

His charity received recognition by local business Upstate Shredding and was gifted a grant to help secure equipment to make the fishing trips possible. Click the link below to view a local news story about Fishing for a Cure in CNY Central’s “CNY Tuesdays” segment.
