Le Moyne College Breaks Ground on New Athletic Facility

Congratulations to Le Moyne College!  Construction of their new softball facility begins today, January 9.  Appel Osborne is thrilled to have a continued relationship with the College and to be a part of another exciting project coming to fruition! 

Appel Osborne has been working closely with the College to develop the NCAA Women’s Varsity Softball Field, which is a component of the campus’ overall Athletic Facility Master Plan. Among the many features which will benefit both the athletes as well as the spectators, the new venue will include a natural grass outfield, new dugouts and bullpens, perimeter fencing and a new scoreboard and videoboard.   A backstop netting feature will also allow fans to enjoy all the action. 

With the recent completion of Le Moyne College’s synthetic turf field, which was designed by AOLA and constructed in 2010, our firm is delighted to be a part of the team that will assist the College in further achieving their athletic program goals.  Click the link below for Le Moyne College’s official announcement:
