East Syracuse-Minoa Hosts Football Semi-Finals

East Syracuse-Minoa Hosts Football Semi-Finals

Congratulations to the East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District on being chosen to host the 2011 Western State Football Semi-finals at their new “Spartan Stadium”.  This occasion will give ESM the opportunity to showcase their new field, which was designed by Appel Osborne Landscape Architecture and constructed in 2009.  It boasts a state-of-the-art multi-purpose synthetic turf field and was voted as the choice venue to host the semi-final games this year.

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) approved the switch to ESM from Rochester, who has hosted the semi-finals for the past several seasons, with the determination that the facilities at Spartan Stadium would be more accommodating to the teams.  The semi-final games at ESM will be held on November 18 and 19.

AOLA is proud to have played a part in providing the district with this fabulous athletic complex enabling them to host this exciting competition.
