East Syracuse Minoa CSD Celebrates Two Ribbon Cuttings

Our firm is happy to celebrate with the East Syracuse Minoa Central School District as they cut the ribbon on two renovated elementary schools.  Both Fremont Elementary and Woodland Elementary were renovated to support 21st century learning.  Site improvements included upgraded infrastructure such as new sidewalks, new pavement, improved loading dock area, parking expansion, and ADA accessibility improvements.  Vehicular circulation was modified to maximize the safety of pedestrians by separating a parking area from the bus loop.  The main entrances were improved with sodded lawns, new plantings, a new flagpole, and plaza space to create a welcoming and inviting entry statement.

Congratulations to ESM on the opening of your newly renovated schools!  Appel Osborne is grateful to have been involved in your efforts to provide safe, functional, and beautiful spaces for your students to explore and learn.

Appel Osborne had the privilege of celebrating with the East Syracuse Minoa Central School District as they cut the ribbon on two renovated schools.  Both Park Hill School and Minoa Elementary were renovated to improve their aging infrastructure and dated design to support 21st century learning.  Site improvements included upgraded infrastructure such as new sidewalks and pavement as well as creative and fun new features such as a “Trike Track” and new playscape. The improvements at these facilities are part of a multi-phase project that kicked off in 2018. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the District, Design Team, and community persevered to see the project through to an on-time and within-budget completion.

Congratulations to ESM on the opening of your newly renovated schools!  Appel Osborne is grateful to have been involved in your efforts to provide safe, functional, and beautiful spaces that cultivate learning, exploration, and pride in the community.
