East Syracuse-Minoa CSD Celebrates "A Greener, Greater Grove"
The faculty, staff, students, and community of East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District celebrated the ribbon cutting and rededication of Pine Grove Middle School on August 24. Many people spoke about the collaborative effort that went into the redesigned and sustainable building and surrounding site. Appel Osborne Partner, Tim Bonaparte, and Project Manager, Katy Jacobs, were recognized for their efforts as part of the Design Team. The landscape architecture design for this project included a new entry courtyard and outdoor learning area with sustainable features such as permeable pavers and native demonstration gardens. Other site work included bus loop and parking modifications, accessibility upgrades, baseball field and cross country/nature trail improvements. It was great to see the redesigned school presented to the community. Congratulations to the ESM School District on this great accomplishment!
