Congratulations to our two Newest Licensed LA's

It is with great pride that we announce that Liz Bogart and Jesse Smith have earned their New York State Registered Landscape Architect License! 

Passing the four-part exam and obtaining a professional license is a meaningful milestone in a professional practice career, and Liz and Jesse earned this accolade as a result of hard work, continued learning, and firsthand experience.

Liz joined our firm in 2017 as an intern and continued in this role until her graduation from SUNY ESF in December 2017. Before graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, she earned her Associates Degree in Architectural Technology from OCC in 2014. She was promoted to Project Manager in 2021. Her experience includes design for a variety of markets including K-12 education, residential and mixed-use development, and parks and recreation. Liz is passionate about the natural environment and preserving our local ecosystems, and as a visiting instructor at SUNY ESF, she has taught courses on natural processes and plant materials.

Jesse has been with Appel Osborne for eight years and is an integral asset to our team. After graduating from SUNY ESF with a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, Jesse joined our team full-time as a Project Designer. His talents as a designer and ability to provide compelling graphics and high quality construction documents are an essential element of our firm's success. It has been a pleasure witnessing his professional growth, and we are thrilled to celebrate this significant accomplishment.
