AOLA Project Manager Visits Livonia CSD Science Class

AOLA Project Manager Visits Livonia CSD Science Class

AOLA Project Manager, Alex Belding, visited Livonia High School on Tuesday to speak with the Earth Science class about the environmental factors related to design and construction involved with their current capital project. This is the second time that Alex has had the opportunity to speak with students at the district to engage them in the landscape architectural process happening right on campus. The class learned about SEQR processes, geotechnical exploratory work, and storm water considerations that were completed to reduce and mitigate environmental impacts of the project. After the presentation, the students were able to walk the future transportation center location and ask additional questions related to design.
