AOLA Project Manager Participates in OCC’s “Girls Going Tech”

Appel Osborne Project Manager and OCC alum, Liz Bogart, visited her alma mater to serve as a mentor for their “Girls Going Tech” event. The program offered eighth grade girls the opportunity to learn about career paths in the fields of Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM). Liz was among eight other alumni who sat down with students from Lafayette, Onondaga, and Syracuse City Schools to explain their journey and how it led them to their current careers in STEM. The event allowed for great conversations between the alumni and the students. It was a valuable opportunity to educate the girls about the possibilities in STEM and reinforce the message that the younger generation of women can achieve their goals in the industry.
