Westhill CSD Celebrates Completion of Phase Two of Capital Project
Congratulations to Cherry Road Elementary School at Westhill CSD! The renovations and new building addition, which was the second phase of the District’s capital project, is complete with site improvements well underway. An important part of this exciting project is the pursuit of LEED Certification. AOLA Partner, Tim Bonaparte, RLA, LEED AP, and AOLA Designer, Katy Johnson, LEED Green Associate, are helping the Architect and the District reach this goal. To celebrate the sustainability of the new building addition and site renovations, an open house will be held September 29th from 10am to noon in conjunction with the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Green Apple Day of Service. This event will be a community-wide celebration and dedication. Join Katy at the event and learn about the site aspects of the project and the importance of LEED!
