Pittsford CSD Celebrates Ribbon Cutting at Tennis Courts

On April 8, the first tennis match of the season between Sutherland High School and Mendon High School at Pittsford CSD was kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony. It was a great event to celebrate a significant milestone for the Sutherland High School tennis program and the District’s athletics program overall. Appel Osborne designed eight new tennis courts at Sutherland High School and converted their existing courts into pickleball courts.

These improvements are part of a Capital Improvement Project that the community passed in the spring of 2023. Design and construction at other schools is also included as part of this project and includes track facility improvements at Barker Road Middle School, new tennis courts at Mendon High School, and infrastructure improvements at four elementary schools.

Congratulations to Pittsford CSD, their community, and the student athletes at Sutherland High School on the formal opening of their new tennis courts.
