New Athletic Fields Under Construction at OCC

Work began over the winter for the design and construction of new synthetic turf baseball and softball fields at Onondaga Community College.  Currently, the College’s women’s softball team and men’s baseball team hold practice and host home games at a county facility 12 miles from campus.  Design of this new facility includes site elements related to the fields including dugouts, bullpens, a press box, sports lighting, bleacher seating, perimeter fencing, scoreboards, and more.   The configuration of the baseball outfield will allow sports such as soccer and lacrosse to be played there as well.  Click the link for an article about this project: http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/04/onondaga_community_college_bui.html
