AOLA Announces Four New Partners
AOLA Announces Four New Partners
Appel Osborne is proud to begin 2026 by announcing the promotion of four team members to Partner: Patrick Costello, Brittany Belding, Timothy Lobczowski, and Taylor Goldthwait.
Each of these individuals has played a vital role in the firm’s continued growth and success. Through their dedication to clients, commitment to excellence, and collaborative approach to their work, Patrick, Brittany, Tim, and Taylor have consistently demonstrated the qualities that define Appel Osborne’s leadership.
Patrick celebrated his 20-year anniversary with Appel Osborne in 2025. He joined the firm as a Project Designer in 2005 upon graduating from SUNY ESF with his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. During his tenure at AOLA, Patrick has designed and coordinated projects across a wide range of markets, including K–12 campuses, athletic facilities, parks and recreation, and corporate campuses. He exemplifies strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication to exceeding client expectations. Patrick is active in the profession and the community through service with ASLA and the East Syracuse Minoa CSD Education Foundation. He brings leadership, a strong work ethic, and a great sense of humor to our office, and we are excited to see him excel in this new role.
Brittany began her career with Appel Osborne as an intern before joining the firm full time in 2010 after graduating from SUNY ESF with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Her early exposure to professional practice, combined with her strengths in organization and communication, shaped her success as a Project Manager and leader. Brittany designs and manages projects across multiple markets and is known for her thoughtful, client-focused approach. She is an active ASLA board member and a valued mentor whose positive energy and guidance enrich the team.
Tim also marked 20 years with Appel Osborne in 2025, having joined the firm after graduating from SUNY ESF in 2005. Tim has dedicated much of his career to improving K–12 campuses throughout New York State through the design of infrastructure, outdoor learning environments, and athletic facilities. As a Senior Associate, he has provided mentorship across office locations, built strong client relationships, and guided projects with a thoughtful, vision-driven approach. His promotion to the position of Partner is a well-deserved achievement and a culmination of his dedication to landscape architecture and Appel Osborne.
Taylor joined Appel Osborne in 2007 following his graduation from SUNY ESF with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Over nearly two decades, he has designed and managed projects for K–12 and higher education campuses, as well as state and community parks throughout New York. Taylor is recognized for his versatility, collaborative design approach, and steady leadership. He is a trusted mentor within the firm and builds lasting relationships with clients by delivering solutions tailored to their specific goals. It is our pleasure to announce his promotion to Partner and continue to celebrate what he accomplishes in this role.
Their promotions reflect not only their individual achievements, but also their shared understanding of the value of teamwork, mentorship, and service. As Partners, they will continue to strengthen the firm’s culture and advance its mission of delivering total client satisfaction.
Please join us in congratulating them on this well-earned milestone. We look forward to their continued contributions to our clients, our colleagues, and the future of the firm.
