The event hosted by the Syracuse Challenger Little League to inform the community about their goals for the new athletic complex at Carrier Park was a success.  More than one hundred attendees were presented with a slideshow of highlights of the league and the plans for the new facility.  Backed by the Town of DeWitt and with a multitude of support, the Challenger League is trying to fund their efforts for the complex which will provide use for the whole community, as well as give their league a home.  The construction of the complex is important to the league for many reasons, one of them being their rapid growth.  If the complex is built, Syracuse Challenger Little League will be the largest Challenger baseball program in the country.  Appel Osborne is happy to be a part of this project and the efforts to make this vision a reality.
